2012 UST Baseball Pitching & Catching Camp

AGE GROUPS and CAMP SIZE:

Grades 6-12

We will accept the first 34 pitchers and the first 20 catchers –- so register today

COST:

$300 for the four-session camp

CAMP DESCRIPTION:

The UST pitching and catching clinic is designed to work with the athlete over four weeks allowing for the individual to retain information and see measurable results over the course of the program. Our goal is to educate you on pitching and catching mechanics so you can be your own best coach.

Pitchers will be videotaped on a regular basis for comparison and evaluations, throw to catchers, throw off mounds, and are radar gunned. You will see your velocity improve, arm health improve, and your control improve over the four weeks. Understanding your mechanics is the key to improvement on your own!

Catchers will work on all aspects of catching: throwing, blocking, receiving, pitch selection, and hitting. Catchers will learn drills and exercises to get them ready for the season as well as keep their technique sharp throughout the season.
