Eric Pulley
Asst. Coach/Running Backs
Eric Pulley is in his second season at St. Thomas and 12th season in coaching, but his second stint with Coach Glenn Caruso. Pulley coached running backs at Macalester under Coach Caruso in 2006 and 2007.
A native of New Orleans, Pulley was a standout quarterback at O.P. Walker High. He was recruited to play at Division I-AA Alabama A & M and was member of the team there over two seasons.
Pulley had the unusual experience of coaching at three differennt high schools in one season -- 2005 -- due to a pair of memorable hurricanes. He was coaching at his alma mater in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina cancelled the season, and Walker High was used as a shelter. He moved west and coached at Abbyville (La.)High, but Hurricane Rita ended the season at that town. He moved with his family to Burnsville, Minn., and joined the BHS staff there in October 2005.
He works with Special Education students in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage district, and lives in Savage with his wife Jennifer and teenage children Josiah and Jada
