     University of St. Thomas alum, Joe Lepsche, returned to St. Thomas in 2008 to coach the Tommie offensive line.  Coach Lepsche previously coached at Macalester College. At Macalester, Lepsche coached offensive line and also was the video coordinator. He helped the Scots achieve their best record in over 10 years. His offensive line helped pave the way for a number of new Macalester offensive records -- most notably, rushing yards in a game (481 yards), total yards in a game (671 yards) and yards in a season (3,489 yards).

     Prior to Macalester, Coach Lepsche played fullback at the University of St. Thomas from 2002-2006. He lettered four years, started for three years and was a captain his senior season. Unfortunately a neck injury ended his career prematurely as a senior. During the 2007 season, he remained at UST as a student coach. He graduated from St. Thomas with a Physical Education Degree and a Health Education Degree. He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree at the University of St. Thomas in Athletic Administration.
