     The 2010 season will be the sixh for Blane Tetreault as a Tommie full-time defensive coach. He's made his mark on recent Tommie teams as defensive coordinator and in helping the Tommies land some excellent recruiting classes. He returned to St. Thomas in 2005 after a two-year coaching stint at Division III football power Rowan (N.J.), where he earned a graduate degree in Public Relations.  While at Rowan, Coach Tetreault helped lead the Profs to the 2004 national semifinals.

     A Fridley native, Coach Tetreault played one season at Division I-A Northern Illinois, then served in the U.S. Marines. He played with St. Thomas from 1997-99, and earned All-Region honors with 225 tackles in those three seasons, as well as serving as team captain in 1999. He coached outside linebackers and coordinated special teams at St. Thomas in 2005, served as defensive coordinator from 2006-2007, and currently coaches defensives backs and serves as recruiting coordinator. 

     Coach Tetreault resides in the St. Paul-area with his wife Bridget and daughters Amelia and Eleanor.
