Football

Offensive
Concordia College's Jason Braaten (Sr., RB, Dent MN, Perham H.S.) ran for 181 yards on 20 carries in Concordia's 26-9 victory over Hamline. His 9.05 yard average per carry on Saturday is the highest for any Cobber back in a MIAC game this season. On the year Braaten has rushed for 360 yards and his 6 yard per carry average leads the team.

Defensive
Concordia College's Dan Tollefson (Sr., CB , Madison MN, Lac Qui Parle Valley H.S.) had two interceptions and ran one back for a touchdown in Saturday's victory over Hamline. Tollefson's 36 yard run back helped put the game out of reach and seal the victory for the Cobbers early in the fourth quarter. Tollefson also had two solo tackles on the day, and helped the Cobber defense limit the Piper offense to under 300 yards of total offense. Tollefson has four interceptions on the year, which leads the Cobber defense.

Special Teams
Conor Casey, University of St. Thomas (JR, DE, Washburn, Wis.) blocked in a punt in the fourth-quarter near the Augsburg goal line and it was recovered at the 2-yard-line, setting up the Tommies final touchdown in a 16-0 road victory. Casey added a pass break-up, 1.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss and five tackles (four solo).
