Toms among NCAA stat leaders in FB, VB

St. Thomas junior running back Jake Barkley ranks third in NCAA Division III rushing after his 184-yard game last Saturday vs. Bemidji State. Barkley also ranks 12th in all-purpose yards with 222 ypg.

In volleyball, four Tommies rank among the NCAA Division III leaders. Jane Gibbs ranks first in assists per game at 16.12; Jenny Smith is 17th in blocks per game at 1.76; and Emily Buehler (3.24 dpg) is 17th and Katie Reynolds in 19th (3.19 dpg) in digs per game.
