Several Tommie football games to be webcast in 2002

Minnesota Sports Update (MSU) will webcast four St. Thomas football gaves live this season as part of their 14-game "MIAC Football Game of the Week" package.

The Tommies' first two games, both at home, will be webcast -- saturday vs. St. Norbert and sept. 14 vs. Bethel. The Tommies' Oct. 26 home game vs. Augsburg also will be webcast. All thre of those are 1 p.m. kickoffs, with pre-game coverage set to begin 15 minutes prior to the start of each game.

The group also will air all four MIAC Metrodome Showcase games, Nov. 7-8, including the Concordia-UST game Nov. 8 at 5 p.m.

Minnesota Sports Wire broadcasters for the games include Lou Michaels, Alan Armstrong, Dick Jonckowski, Jim Erickson, Dan Hill and Blair Reynolds.

The Tommies' final three road games also will air live on the radio -- Oct. 5 at St. Olaf (KDHL 920 AM); Oct. 19 at Carleton (KYMN 1080 AM); and Nov. 2 at St. John's. Those games may also be webcast by the home school.
