FB's Dan Green is new head coach at Osseo High

Dan Green, who just completed his 11th season as assistant football coach at the University of St. Thomas, has been hired as Osseo High School's head football coach. He's been a teacher at Osseo for the last 25 years.

Green was Osseo's offensive coordinator from 1977-91. He came to St. Thomas in 1992 and worked with the defensive backs and later the defensive line for the last 11 seasons.

A North St. Paul native, Green was an All-American offensive tackle while playing at North Daokta State. He coached one season there as a graduate assistant and coached six seasons at Winona High prior to coming to Osseo in 1977.
