His 2009 basketball camps include residential, full-day, half-day, and overnight camps for boys (grades 4-10), full-day and half-day basketball camps for girls (grades 4-9), beginner's camps (grades 2-4), and evening basketball camps for high school boys and girls (grades 9-12). Camp staff consists of current and former college players and coaches. Emphasis is placed on skill development, goal-setting, motivation, and teamwork. For more information or a basketball camp brochure, please call Johnny Tauer at (651) 962-5033 and leave a mailing address, or send an e-mail to: jmtauer@stthomas.edu.

Tauer has been associated with Minnesota basketball for the past 20 years, playing high school and collegiately for Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, Minn.) and the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, Minn.). After earning his Ph.D. in social/sport psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Tauer returned to Minnesota in 2000.
