St. Thomas ranked 14th in this week's Division III top-25 rankings in men's cross country in the national coaches' poll released Wednesday.
Coach Pete Wareham's Tommie team took fourth behind three Division I teams at last week's Lafayette (Pa.) Invitational. St. Thomas edged fifth-place College of New Jersey, which is ranked 12th.
Four other Central Region teams are ranked -- Nebraska Wesleyan (8th), Wartburg (10th), Carleton (16th) and Grinnell (17th). The Tommies topped Carleton by 10 points in the St. Olaf meet.
