Chris Sall leads Men's Golf to second place

St. Thomas teams took second and ninth in Friday's nine-team UW-Stout Invitational. The host Blue Devils won at 295 followed by St. Thomas 1 (302), UW-Eau Claire (309). Stout #2 (311), Eau Claire #2 (317), Augsburg (319), St. Thomas #2 (323), Augsburg #2 (334) and Marian (357).

Chris Sall shot 74 for tie for second. Delaney Metcalf tied for eighth at 75; James Stafford tied for 10th at 76; Grant Shafranski tied for 12th at 77; Brandon Engebos was 16th at 78. Scott Corick (79), Cutter Tyllia (80), Alex Grausnick (82) and Alec Pfeffer (82) competed for the Tommie #2 team.

St. Thomas will compete Monday-Tuesday in the Gustavus Invite.
