Johnnies top Tommies in Men's Golf

Two-time NCAA champion St. John's outshot St. Thomas in a men's golf dual on Saturday in Becker, Minn. St. John's shot 290 with its first team and 306 with its second team to top the Tommies first group (313) and second team (318).

Johnnie golfers Joe Daly, Jeff Nechas, Joe Schoolmeesters and Ben Vangsness shot even-par 72.

For UST, John Baggenstoss, Sean Barrett, Chris Sall and James Stafford all shot 77s. Zach Barnum shot 78; Brandon Engebos and Josh Witt shot 79s; Grant Shafranski and Cutter Tyllia shot 82s; Scott Cornick Ben Jensen and Bill Mulvahill shot 84s; and Mike Hollway shot 86.
