Drew Fielding stopped 29 of 30 shots and the host Tommies (11-10-2 overall, 8-5-1 MIAC) improved their hold on second place with Saturday's 5-1 comeback win over Bethel (7-14, 6-6) in MIAC men's hockey play in Mendota Heights.
Five different players scored a goal for the Tommies, who snapped a three-game losing streak.
BU scored a power-play goal 3:08 into the game, but Travis Baker tied the game late in period one. Connor McBride and Nick Neilsen scored goals 1:46 apart early in period two to put UST ahead to stay. Chris Cass and Tyler Gubb added goals.
St. Thomas has a bye next weekend and plays Feb. 14 and 16 against Augsburg.
