Big road win for No. 12 M. Hockey

Tyrone Simcoe stopped all 21 shots and five different Tommies scored goals in Friday night’s 6-0 men’s hockey win at Gustavus in a battle of co-No. 12-ranked teams.  

The teams play again Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Mendota Heights to close the weekend series.  

Chris Cass scored two goals and Riley Horgan had a goal and an assist for the Tommies (4-2-1 overall, 3-0 MIAC). UST scored four times in period two to take control.  

Simcoe has recorded back-to-back shutouts in MIAC play.
