September 11, 2004
The St. Thomas men's soccer team remained unbeaten on the season with Saturday's 0-0 tie in two overtimes at UW-Oshkosh. The Titans (0-1-2) were ranked third in Division III after reaching the NCAA D-III Final Four in 2003.

Oshkosh outshot the Toms 15-8 but UST held a 3-2 edge in overtime shots. Freshman Matt Carlson played the first 45 minutes in goal and Freshman Daniel Hutton played the final 65 minutes.

In 380 minutes this season, the Tommies (3-0-1) have allowed just one goal (on a penalty kick). Coach Aaron Macke's team starts MIAC play Wednesday at Carleton (4 p.m.) and hosts defending conference champ Macalester Friday (4 p.m.).
