Hamline's 1-1 tie with St. Olaf Wednesday let the Pipers secure the fourth and final conference playoff berth.

St. Thomas (5-3-1 MIAC) can tie the Pipers (5-2-3 MIAC) for fourth place with a win Friday at Augsburg. But the Tommies lose the head-to-head tie-breaker. The Toms tied second-place Gustavus and beat first-place Macalester, but lost 1-0 to Hamline Oct. 1; lost 2-0 at St. Olaf last week; and fell 2-1 in overtime to St. John's on Tuesday.
