Late goal sinks Men's Soccer in 1-0 loss

Clint Schreiber scored the game's only goal in the 86th minute as Central edged St. Thomas 1-0 in non-conference men's soccer Saturday at UST's South Field.
Reid Petersen and Jason Winslow had assists as Schreiber beat UST goalie Carlos Castelan to the right corner.
The Toms (10-4-2) had a first-half goal by Matt Michalik disallowed by an offsides call.
Greg Foote was in goal and recorded his eighth shutout of the season for the Dutch (10-5-2), who play Sunday at Carleton against Concordia-Moorhead.
The Tommies play St. John's in a key MIAC game Tuesday at home at 3:30 p.m. The close the regular season Saturday at home vs. Augsburg The Toms will make the conference playoffs with two wins.
