Men's Swimming get dual win over St. John's

St. Thomas won both relays and captured seven other events and edged St. John's in Saturday's men's swimming and diving dual meet in Collegeville, 176-143.

UST's Peter Mullee, Ben Ruhme and Michael Hoelterhoff each contributed to three firsts.

Mullee won the 50 free (21.26) and 200 IM (2:00.11). Hoelterhoff led off the winning 400 free relay, anchored the winning 200 medley relay, and won the 100 back (54.64). Ruhme swam on the free relay, won the 200 back (2:02.31) and was first in the 200 fly (2:02.27).

Other winners for UST were Erik Huls in the 100 fly (53.55) and Andrew Spratt in the 1,000 free (10:12.38).
