Men's Swimming results from CSC Invite

The St. Thomas men's swimming team had 10 firsts in the Jan. 18 St. Catherine Invitational.
Dave Linn had a hand in five victories and Eric Moeker contributed to four firsts.
Linn won the 200 IM (2:03.29) and 100 (57.77) and 200 backstrokes (2:06.70). Moeker won the 500 free (5:10.57) and 100 fly (55.34). Both swam on two winning relays -- the 400 frestyle relay (3:26.02) with Nick Schleder and Jesse Winden, and the 200 medley relay (1:41.13) with Brian Privette and John Kuykendall.
UST was a close second in the 200 free relay (1:32.19) with Nick Erickson, Kuykendall, Schleder and Winden.
Privette also won the 100 (66.03) and 200 (2:27.66) breaststrokes, and Kuykendall won the 200 free (1:53.30).
Moeker also was second in the 200 fly (2:12.66); Kuykendall was second in the 50 free (22.67); Winden was second in the 100 fly (60.39) and third in the 500 free (5:27.42); Schleder was third in the 200 IM (2:10.84), the 100 back (59.45) and the 200 back (2:17.75); and Paul Stahler was third in the 1,650 free (21:15.73).
The Tommies compete Friday at home vs. St. Mary's (6 p.m.).
