Men's Swimming cruises to dual-meet win

Juniors Dave Linn and John Kuykendall each had a hand in three firsts as host St. Thomas scored a 41-21 victory over Hamline in a Friday night dual meet in O'Shaughnessy Pool.

Lin won the 100 back (56:15), 200 IM (2:08.37) and joined Kuykendall, Dave Turnbloom and Steve Kalscheuer on the winning 200 medley relay (1:46.68). Kuykendall also won the 50 free (23.68) and 100 free (52.03).

Turnbloom won the 100 breaststroke (1;12.71); Matt Des Marais won the 500 free (5:51.62); Kalscheuer won the 100 fly (60.25) and 200 free (1;58.46).

St. Thomas competes Saturday at Carleton (1 p.m.).
