Men's Swimmers cruise past Scots

The St. Thomas men's swimming team rolled to a 48-36 victory over Macalester Friday in a dual meet at O'Shaughnessy Pool.

The Tommies had the fastest time in 10 of 11 events. John Kuykendall swept the 100 free (51.18) and 200 free (1:55.86); Dave Linn won the 200 IM (2:07.25); Steve Kalschauer won the 200 fly (2:15.62); Dave Turnbloom won the 50 free (24.28), had the fastest time in the 200 breaststroke (2:38.21); and joined Jon Soldner, Alex Bos and Matt Basgall on the first-place 200 medley relay (1:56.31).

The Tommies compete Friday Nov. 21 at St. Catherine vs. Macalester and Augsburg, and Saturday Nov. 22 in the Macalester Invitational.
