Tommies' Dave Linn gets honor

St. Thomas swimming standout Dave Linn (JR-Shorewood, Wis./Milwaukee Marquette) Monday was named MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Linn won the 100 backstroke in a fast early-season time of 53.12 last Saturday in the Tommies' 138-67 dual loss at St. John's. The NCAA "B" qualifying time is 53.09, and Linn's school-record time in that event is 51.98.
