Seven UST swimmers ranked in top 10 of MiAC events

Seven St. Thomas swimmers are ranked in the top 10 of their respective events in the MIAC near the midway point of the season.
Sophomore Catherine Daly ranks second and third in the 100 and 200 breaststroke (68.87 and 2:33.04). Junior Heather McFarlane ranks fourth in the 50 free (25.06) and ninth in the 100 free (55.93). Soph Ann Hepola ranks ninth in the 1000 free (11:31.34). Junior Kate Boran ranks 10th in the 200 fly (64.12).
In relays, the UST quartet of Krysy Harrod, Daly, Boran and McFarlane are third in the 400 medley (4:16.87) and fourth in the 200 medley (1:55.57).
On the men's side, senior Dave Linn is ranked in four events. He's second in the 100 back (54.71); eighth in the 50 free (22.37); eighth in the 200 IM (2:02.93); and ninth in the 200 back (2:04.63). Freshman Kevin Mullee ranks 10th in the 50 free (22.40) and ninth in the 100 fly (54.82). Freshman Tim Mullee ranks 10th in the 100 back (57.40).
In men's relays, UST is third in the 400 medley (3:46.53) and fourth in the 200 medley (1:41.72) and fourth in the 200 and 400 free relays (1:28.68 and 3:30.15).
After a holiday-break training trip, the Tommies have a women's dual meet with St. Catherine Jan. 11.
