T.J. Hardy, Ann Hepola get MIAC honors in pool

St. Thomas had the Male and Female Swimmer of the Week in the MIAC it was announced Monday.

T.J. Hardy (FR-Chaska) helped UST win the four-team St. Catherine Invitational. Hardy swam a 21.61 leg on UST's winning 200 Free Relay, won the 50 Free in a time of 22.30 (which is on UST's All-Time Top 15 list), led off the 4x100 Free Relay in 49.70, and finished second in the 100 Back (56.35).

Ann Hepola (SO-Hutchinson) won the 200 Free (2:04.62), 500 Free, and was second in 100 Breaststroke in Friday's dual win over Concordia. At Saturday's CSC Invite, she won the 1650 (19:32.08), was second in the 200 Free and 500 (5:29.25--8th on UST's All-Time List), and had a 58.9 leg on the runner-up 400 Free Relay.
