Men's Swimming tops Scots

St. Thomas won eight of 13 events to post a 67-35 win over Macalester in men's swimming action Friday at O'Shaughnessy Pool.

Tim Mullee won the 200 IM (2:12.28) and anchored the winning 200 medley relay. T.J. Hardy won the 500 free and led off the 200 medley. Kevin Mullee won the 100 fly (57.93) and swam on the 200 medley and 200 free. Matt Des Marais won the 1,650 free (19:10.15). Jeremy Anderson swept the one-meter (127.80) and three-meter diving (132.45).

The Scots were led by Sjon Swanson, who won the 200 free (1:52.37), the 100 free (50.96) and the 100 breaststroke (64.48).

The Toms host Gustavus next Friday.
