Men's Tennis falls 8-1 to Gusties

The St. Thomas men's tennis team dropped its first MIAC dual meet of 2003 Saturday with an 8-1 loss to national power Gustavus.

UST's Blair Madsen won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6 singles. The Toms also lost close matches at No. 3 singles as Brian Thomas lost 7-6, 1-6, 10-6, and at No. 2 doubles with Thomas and Tut Fuller falling 8-6.

The Tommies, 13-3 overall, play at Carleton April 23 in their last conference dual.
