Men's Tennis loses 6-3 to 6-0 Huskies

The St. Thomas men's tennis team played Division II St. Cloud State tough but lost 6-3 in its season-opening match Saturday in Sartell. The Tommies used nine different players vs. the Huskies, who are now 6-0.

John Thomas and Blair Madsen scored singles wins and Brian Thomas lost in three sets at No. 1 singles. The Toms also lost a tie breaker at No.1 doubles and lost a close match at No. 2 doubles.

The Toms play Friday at Macalester and host Minnesota-State, Mankato next Saturday.
