Close 5-4 loss for Men's Tennis

Carleton won three third-set tie-breakers in Tuesday's 5-4 men's tennis win over St. Thomas at Burnsville Racquet Center.
The Knights improved to 13-2 (4-1 MIAC), while the Toms (10-3, 4-1) lost their first match to a Division III foe.
Tut Fuller and Blair Madsen won at Nos. 2-6 singles. Madsen and John Thomas won at No. 2 doubles and Brian Thomas and Fuller won at first doubles.
St. Thomas hosts Wheaton (Ill.) Saturday (9 a.m.) and hosts MIAC power Gustavus next Wednesday.
