Men's Tennis falls 9-0 to Gusties

Gustavus continued its dominance of MIAC men's tennis Wednesday with a 9-0 victory over host St. Thomas. The Gusties wrapped up another 9-0 conference regular-season and will be the top seed for the April 23-24 tournament in St. Peter.
The Gusties won three close matches, including comeback victories with third-set tie-breaker wins at Nos. 4 and 6 singles, to secure the shutout.
The Tommies' duo of John Thomas and Blair Madsen lost 8-5 at third doubles. They later both won the first set at Nos. 4 and 6 singles, respectively, before losing close tie-breakers.
The Toms (10-4 overall, 4-2 MIAC) play at St. John's Friday, and Concordia-Moorhead Saturday and at Hamline next Tuesday.
