Men's Tennis takes 7th place in MIAC tourney

St. Thomas finished 1-2 on the weekend with three close matches at the MIAC Tournament on indoor courts. Combined with their MIAC dual record, that puts the Toms in sixth place in the final standings.

The Toms lost 5-2 to St. John's; lost a marathon 5-4 match to St. Mary's; and edged St. Olaf 5-4. UST closed its dual season with a 9-11 record.

In the St. John's loss, St. Thomas lost a three-set match at third singles and were leading in two doubles matches when the match was secured with the clinching point.

In the St. Mary's loss, the Toms fell 8-6 at first doubles and lost third-set matches as 1-2-3 singles.

Grant Campbell went 3-2 in singles and doubles on the weekend.
