Toms extend MIAC win streak

St. Thomas won its third MIAC men's tennis match in five days as it scored a 6-3 victory Tuesday in Northfield over St. Olaf.

The Toms (7-8 overall, 3-5) won a pair of third-set tie-breakers in singles with Ben Herding and Brett Casey to pull out the victory. Herding had lost a 9-7 battle at first doubles with Drew Carlson. Casey and Kevin Manzel won 9-8 at third doubles.

Casey and Patrick Napurski were unbeaten in two matches on the day.
