Close match, but Men's Tennis falls 5-4

Freshman Arya Vayghan ran his winning streak to 11 matches at first singles, but St. Thomas lost 5-4 to Bethel on Thursday afternoon in Arden Hills.

The Tommies (10-6 overall, 6-3 MIAC) has a six-match win streak halted and will finish fourth in the conference regular-season standings.

Vayghan, freshman Andy Michels and Kevin Manzel all won in singles, and Manzel and Ben Herding won in doubles.

The Tommies will play next weekend in the MIAC tournament.
