Kisielius, Milton sharp at Carleton men's track meet

Andrew Kisielius won the long jump and triple jump, the latter in an NCAA provisional qualifying mark, to lead the Tommies' efforts at Saturday's Carleton Relays. The Toms sent about 10 athletes to the Kansas Relays and the rest of the team to Carleton.

Kisielius won the long jump in 22-9 and won the triple jump in 46-7 1-4 -- the sixth farthest jump in UST history.

Another NCAA provisional qualifying mark was turned in by Chris Milton in the pole vault -- he placed third in 15-2 1-4.

Other top-10 individuals for UST were Dan Draine in the steeplechase (second, 9:40.52); Parker Gunderson in the 110 hurdle (fifth, 15.47); Aaron Johnson in the discus (fifth, 142-0) and shot put (seventh, 43-7); Jesse Johnson in the hammer (third, 150-8); Adam Aaron in the 200 (seventh, 23.14); Ben Garbe in the triple jump (eighth, 42-9 3-4); Ben Kummer in the 10,000 (10th, 33:11.14); Sean Brenckman in the 5,000 (10th, 15:38.95); and Tim Cook in the 100 (10th, 11.40).
