4Tracksters hit seasons bests at Tuesday night meet

The St. Thomas men's and women's track and field teams entered more than a dozen athletes in Tuesday night's home NCAA Qualifier meet at O'Shaughnessy Stadium. Four UST men had season-best times, although no new provisional marks or times were reached by the Tommies.

Season-best times were recorded by junior Justin Hall in the 400 (48.90), Jason Overson in the 1,500 (3:57.46) and Bryce Beckman in the 800 (1:55.16). Aaron Johnson had a season best in the hammer (48.46m), The Toms' 4x400 relay just missed its best time as it clocked 3:15.76.
