St. Thomas hosts 11-team HS boys' track meet Friday

White Bear Lake will try to repeat as team champion at Friday's University of St. Thomas High School Boys' Track & Field Invitational. The 11-team competition starts at 4 p.m. at UST's O'Shaughnessy Stadium on the St. Paul campus (Cretin & Summit Avenues).
Field events start at 4 p.m., and the first track races are set for 4:45 p.m.
White Bear Lake is joined in the 11-team field by Bloomington Jefferson, Champlin Park, Coon Rapids, Cretin-Derham Hall, Eastview, Roibbinsdale Armstrong, Stillwater, Tartan, Woodbury and Wayzata.
There are four returning champions in the field, led by Champlin Park state champ and 100-meter state record holder Ibrahim Kabia and Stillwater distance star Jake Watson.
Meet results will be available at this site after 9 p.m.
