Cory Fusco hits provisional time in 800 in Men's Track

Senior Cory Fusco ran 1:54.06 for third out of 34 entries at Friday's non-team scored Snowshoe Open at the University of Minnesota. Fusco's time eclipsed the NCAA provisional qualifying standard of 1:55.00. Teammate Bryce Beckman was fifth in 1:55.90.

Joe Thomas took sixth in the high jump in 6-6 3-4. Jarrod Gray and Mike Draxton were 12th and 14th at 6-0 3-4, and J.J. Kirby was 17th in 5-10 3/4. Will Hawthorne was 16th in the mile in 4:24.16.

Most of the Tommie squad competed in Saturday's Tostrud Classic at St. Olaf.
