March 12, 2005
For the second year in a row, the St. Thomas men's 4x400 relay team finished as NCAA Division III runner-up. Carson Glad, P.J. Theisen, Cassidy Glad and Jason Schwietz ran 3:16.19, just .32 of a second behind UW-LaCrosse.

That foursome broke its own school and MIAC record of 3:16.87 set in 2004.

The eight team points let St. Thomas place 10th with 16 points. Joe Thomas' second-place finish in Friday's high jump scored the other eight points.

Theisen also competed in Saturday's triple jump but didn't make the finals at 44-6 1-4 in his prelims.
