Men's Track 2nd at Meet of Saints

Senior All-American Carson Glad hit an NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 400 meters in 48.36 to lead the Tommies in Saturday's Meet of the Saints men's track and field meet in Collegeville.

Other Tommie victors were Peter Rosholt in the hammer, Derek Marks in the discus, Mike Draxton in the high jump, Kaleb Stromberg in the 1,500, Colin Sullivan in the 5,000 and the 4x100 relay team.

St. John's placed first with 169 followed by UST at 117 and St. Olaf with 97. The Tommies held out several athletes.

One Tommmie competed at the UW-Eau Claire Invite -- senior Dave Diercks won the javelin in 173-1.
