Kirby and freshmen James Ewer and Pat Jager. Other qualifiers are juniors Derek Marks (discus, 8th seed) and Matt Schroeder (pole vault, 14th seed) and senior Peter Rosholt (hammer, 17th seed).

On the women's side, senior All-American Kristal Grigsby is seeded first in the long jump and tied for 11th in the high jump; senior Molly Bauman will run in four events as the third seed in the 400 hurdles, the 100 hurdles, the third-seeded 4x400 relay with junior Christina Chapman and freshmen Shionna Evans and Katie Theisen; and the 12th-seed 4x100 relay with Grigsby, Chapman and sophomore Kate Staat. Soph Selina Dehn is seeded 12th in the triple jump.

It's Theisen's thrid NCAA trip in the 400 hurdles and 4x400. He earned All-America honors in March in the 2006 indoor nationals in the 55 hurdles.

Grigsby won the 2004 outdor and 2005 indoor long jump. She was third in last May's long jump at nationals, and sixth in march at indoor nationals.
