Welcome to Tommies Today, a look at UST varsity sports for Tuesday Sept. 29.
The UST men’s soccer team plays a non-conference match against Buena Vista at 4 p.m. on the South campus field. It’s the first of six home competitions this week for Tommie teams.
On Wednesday, the Tommie women’s soccer team plays a 4 p.m. game at home against St. Ben’s, and Tommie volleyball plays a 7:30 p.m. match against Bethel at nearby Concordia University’s Gangelhoff Center.

There's no admission charge to St. Thomas regular-season competition in soccer, volleyball, swimming, golf, cross country, track and field, tennis, softball or baseball. UST students, staff and faculty are admitted free to home regular-season games in football and men's and women's basketball.

UST (4-4-1 overall) plays today at 4 p.m. at home against Buena Vista (Iowa) (1-8). The Tommies lost a tough 2-1 game Saturday at Bethel on a goal in the 89th minute and will look to bounce back. They play at home again Saturday against Hamline (11 a.m.). The Beavers have 4-0 losses to both Augsburg and Loras.
