Men's Tennis falls to Scots

Tommie Men's Tennis tried to overome a slow start in doubles but fell 7-2 Friday night to Macalester at the U of M Baseline courts.

St. Thomas lost close matches at second and third doubles and went into singles with an uphill fight trailing 3-0. Four of the six singles matches went deep into the Super Tiebreaker.

The Tommies won at Nos. 5-6 singles, with Jordan Schenck picking up his first college singles victory, and Zach LeVene improving his singles record to 4-0 this season.

St. Thomas plays Carleton Sunday in Lakeville.
