2016-2017:    Kaylie provided the Tommies with great minutes off the bench.  She played in 32 games, scoring 73 points (2.3 ppg) and contributed 51 rebounds, while shooting 77% from the free-throw line.   Kaylie averaged an impressive 1.6 assists per turnover, and averaged nearly 1 steal a game with 26. 

 

2015-2016:   Kaylie played in 25 games as a freshman. Her quickness helped her record 16 steals, 21 assists, while shooting 83% from the charity strip.  She had a 10 point performance vs Wheaton followed by a season high of 12 points vs Oshkosh.  As the back-up point guard, she provided a steady 1.2 assist to turnover ratio while she added 4.3 points per games. 


Prior to St. Thomas:    Lettered five years in basketball, all-conference selection 3 of those years. Minnesota River Conference Most Valuable Player 2014-15, All-State honorable Mention 2013-14, All-State first team 2014-15.  She reached the 1,000 point scoring mark and Holds Norwood-Young-America's all-time records in scoring, steals, assists, and 3-point feild goals made.  Led her team to Class AA State Tournamnet in 2014-15 and was selected to participate in the 1015 All-Star Game.   Kaylie Played in 32 games, scoring 73 points (2.3 ppg) and contributed 51 rebounds, 31 assists, 26 steals, while shooting 77% from the free-throw line. 

What makes St. Thomas Special?... Aside from talking the beautiful campus every day, I really enjoy the small class sizes and the relationships the professors have with their students. Every professor I've had has known my name, I think that’s really special. Kaylie 

What is something St. Thomas has taught me so far?... It’s okay to step outside your comfort zone.

What advice do you have for future Tommie Basketball players?... Don't be afraid to make mistakes. No one is perfect and you can't learn lessons until mistakes are made.

What club outside of basketball are you in? ... I am a part of the Sports Business Club at UST. This club organizes speakers from different positions on Minnesota Sports teams. It is a great way to develop/expand your network and get a feel for what specialty in business you'd be most interested in.

What is your favorite place to eat on campus? off campus? .... On Campus - Coffee Bené , Off Campus - Lord Fletchers

Do you have any notable talents or unique hobbies?...  I collect souvenir spoons from all the states I've been to.
