Balance leads way as Volleyball wins again

Julia Spacek hit .429 and had 10 kills and five blocks to lead No. 23-ranked St. Thomas Volleyball to a 3-1 victory over Concordia in the MIAC opener Wednesday night in Moorhead. UST won 25-16, 25-12, 25-23, 25-17.

The Tommies (8-1 overall, 1-0 MIAC) have won eight consecutive matches.

Madie Kroehler hit .350 with 10 kills, 10 digs and two aces. Whitney Lloyd added 10 kills. Katharine Mallak had 22 assists. Ellie Meyer had 14 digs.

St. Thomas plays four matches Friday and Saturday in the UW-River Falls tournament.
