St. Thomas' Thanh Pham was named NCAA Volleyball Central Region Coach of the Year for the first time in his career. Pham has guided the Tommies to a 27-4 record and a spot in the region semifinals. That includes wins in 27 of their last 30 matches and a 14-0 mark vs. MIAC teams.

Pham's five-year record of 130-38 includes a 61-13 record vs. conference opposition. He's led the Tommies to three MIAC championships and three NCAA playoff berths.

Two Tommie players also received major region awards -- Katie McCaffrey was one of 12 players named first team All-Region, and setter Emily Foster was named region Freshman of the Year and also was honorable mention All-Region.

St. Thomas is 86-18 in McCaffrey’s three-year era. McCaffrey ranks in the top eight in Division III in blocks per game and attack percentage and has five double-doubles in kills and blocks.

Foster was also the conference Rookie of the Year. She ranks in the top 10 in assists per game and has 17 double-doubles in assists and digs.
