Volleyball now 13th in national D-III poll

The St. Thomas volleyball team (23-4 overall, 10-0 conference) moved up one spot in this week's Division III national rankings to No. 13.

Coach Thanh Pham's Tommies are 4-4 vs. ranked teams this season. They have wins over No. 4 NYU, No. 12 Carleton, No. 10 Concordia-Moorhead and No. 21 St. Benedict and have lost in four games to No. 25 UW-Platteville, No. 16 Central (twice) and No. 8 UW-Oshkosh.

St. Thomas plays at 11th-place St. Catherine Wednesday (7 p.m.) and with a win can become the first MIAC team since 1997 to finish 11-0 in the conference standings.
