St. Thomas is playing host to an eight-team NCAA Volleyball Regional tournament, Nov. 8-10, at Schoenecker Arena.

The single-elimination tournament starts on Thursday with four matches, with two Friday semifinals (4:30 and 7 p.m.) and Saturday's 7 p.m. finals. Ticket prices per day are $7 for adults and $4 ­for students, with children age 2 and under free.

The tournament winner advances to the eight-team Division III finals Nov. 15-17 in Hope, Mich.

This regional includes six conference champion teams, four of whom are ranked in the AVCA top 25 poll.

Toms (36-1) get 31st win in row, 28th home-court win in row, improve to 12-4 in postseason over last three seasons... Toms hit .346 and get 12 kills from Kelly Foley, 11 kills from Jill Greenfield, and nine kills from Paige Brimeyer... Amy Bomgren had 14 kills to lead Blugolds (26-12). UWEC hit .223 but had seven service errors.
