Tommie Sports - Women's Basketball

UST 2010 Summer Girls' Basketball Camp

Tommie Pride Summer Basketball Camp

Camp Philosophy

The purpose of Tommie Pride Basketball Camp is to provide a positive experience by combining interactive activities geared around basketball both on and off the court. Our goal is to leave the campers with skill development, an increased confidence in both basketball and themselves, and most importantly a memorable experience.

Tommie Pride Camp is run by experienced, positive, caring role models who know the game of basketball and how to teach it to all levels of ability. More importantly, we take great pride in providing a lasting experience for our campers.

Qualified and enthusiastic coaches and UST Women’s basketball players will assist the UST coaching staff during each session of the Tommie pride Basketball Camps. This will allow our campers the opportunity to work one on one with great role models who have participated in the game at the high school and collegiate level.

Camp director Ruth Sinn takes an active involvement in the instruction of the campers and works with them personally throughout the camp. Keeping the campers involved and working throughout the day is our expectation.

Campers will receive a booklet where they will keep a daily log of activities and information of self motivation to apply life lessons to use on a daily basis.

Camp Dates and Fees

There will be no overnight camp this summer.

The University of St. Thomas is undergoing an exciting building campaign resulting in a brand new arena and practice facilities. Because of the construction we will not be able to hold camp on campus this summer and therefore cannot host our popular overnight camp.
