Sophomore

2008-09: Played in 13 varsity games and scored 12 points against St. Mary’s and St. Catherine; shot 42% at 3-point line with 10 treys… Undeclared major… 2008 graduate of St. Louis Park High, where she was honor student and Academic all-state, and in basketball was 2X HM all-state and 3X all-conference… born 1-26-90… daughter of Lori and Roger Johnson of St. Louis Park.

Coach Sinn's comments:

Ali Johnson: A versatile scorer who has added a defensive presence to her repertoire in the off-season.  She is our deadliest shooter with deep range. She has an incredible ability to read the defense and get herself open for the shot. She brings athleticism, agility, and a mean jump shot into our team dynamic. Ali saw action in 13 varsity games during the 2008-09 season, and hit 4 3's in two games off the bench. She will be an impact player for our program this season. She is a 08’ grad from St. Louis Park where she lettered in basketball four years, received three All-Conference honors and two All-State honorable mentions. Her parents are Roger and Lori Johnson.

Prior to St. Thomas:

Lettered in basketball four years, received three All-Conference honors and two All-State honorable mentions. Participated in NHS and was in Academic All-State.

The most important thing I have learned at St. Thomas is...take pride in your work and your team!

My advice to a future Tommie basketball player is...Work hard and prepare yourself in the off-season.

My dream job would be...designing shoes for Nike.
