2008-09: Made the 15-player All-MIAC first team (one of just six sophomores or freshmen); team 9-1 last season when she scored in double figures; shot 79% at the foul line and averaged 8.3 points and 4.4 rebounds; had career-high 9 points against Simpson... 2007-08 Started five games and averaged 4.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.1 assists… Health Promotion Science major with 3.97 gpa… 2007 graduate of New Prague High, where she was Academic All-State; captain, 2X team MVP and 2X all-conference on state tourney team in basketball; 3X team MVP, all-state and 8X all-conference in track and field, and team captain and HM all-conference in volleyball... born 9-15-88… sister Katie (Track-CC) and brother P.J. (track-FB) were All-Americans and Academic All-Americans in their sport… daughter of Margo and Pat Theisen of Elko.

Coach Sinn’s Comments:

A sharp, athletic, and fierce competitor who knows the game and can run the floor. She has incredible speed and athleticism that enables her to make steals and rattle the defense. She is a confident leader on and off the court, who continually shares her passion for the game with her teammates. Offensively, she is strong with the ball, is able to make excellent passes inside, and finishes after a drive. She also uses her ability to read the floor in order to convert shots both inside and outside the arc. She is a returning junior who started in 21 of 27 games last season and was the second leading scorer on varsity. She received All-Conference Honors last season and has lettered twice. She graduated from New Prague with Captain, All-Conference, and All-State Honors in Basketball and Track. Her parents are Margo and Pat Theisen. Her siblings PJ and Katie both graduated from the University of St. Thomas where they received honors in athletics.

07-08:

Played in 25 games and started 5 as a freshman, averaging 20 Minutes of playing time per game. Averaged 44% from the field and scored in double digits twice.

Prior to St. Thomas:

2007 graduate of New Prague high school...3x team MVP, All-state and 8x All-conference in track...team captain and All-conference honorable mention in volleyball...2x team MVP, 2x All-conference and captain in basketball...participated in state track meet and state basketball tournament.

Personal:

Born September 15, 1988...daughter of Pat and Margo Theisen...sister Katie runs track and cross country for UST.

My best Halloween costume was when I....had a full yellow Care Bear outfit

Other sports I enjoy besides basketball are...foosball, track, sand volleyball, and many more!
