Women's CC third in NCAA region poll

The St. Thomas women's cross country team is ranked third in this week's NCAA Central Region poll. Wartburg, Carleton, St. Thomas, Luther and Nebraska Wesleyan hold the top five spots.

No. 15-ranked St. Thomas was off last weekend and will compete this Friday in a field of Division I and II teams in a meet hosted by San Francisco State University at Golden Gate Park. It will be the first Tommie women's cross country race in California in the program's 30-year history.
